When I signed up, I wasn't actually committed yet, I asked for a quote and was called back. She answered my questions. I said I needed to discuss it with my husband before making a decision, she said I could sign up now and could cancel within the cooling off period if we decided not to continue. She did not say this process would be manipulative and time-consuming. I continued the sign up process, which seemed quite straight forward, and discussed it later with my husband. We decided not to go ahead with the insurance. I then had to sit through a half-an-hour phone call with a woman, just doing her job, giving me what felt like a lecture on why to keep the insurance, which was in no way ever going to change our decision or situation. It was frustrating and completely soured the whole experience. Every insurance company may do this, I don't know.. but for this reason I have negative memories of RSPCA, let alone the pet insurance.
