RSPCA Pet Insurance collects Personal Information directly from you so we can provide, market and administer our pet insurance products and related services.
What information we collect

- your name and contact details;
- information about your pet, such as species, breed and age;
- information you provide when you enquire about or apply for pet insurance;
- information relevant to evaluating and processing any claims you make under your policy; and
- your marketing preferences.
Where appropriate, we may also collect or verify information about you or your pet from national claims databases and other industry databases. We do this to help us assess risk, prevent fraud, and evaluate or process claims.
Why we collect this information
We collect this information so we can:
- assess your eligibility for pet insurance;
- send newsletters, updates and information about our programs and services
- providing information on pet-related products, services and offers; and
- providing information on other suitable insurance products underwritten by Pacific International Insurance.
What happens if you don’t provide the information
If you don’t provide the Personal Information we ask for, we may not be able to assess your eligibility for pet insurance, issue a policy, or evaluate or process a claim.
